A source reveals that the actress wants her chemistry with RK in Jagga Jasoos to be even hotter!
Ever since the trailer of Tamasha released, everyone has been raving about the on-screen chemistry between former lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Their sizzling chemistry even got a big thumbs-up from the actor’s mom Neetu Kapoor. But the trailer didn’t have the same effect on RK’s current girlfriend Katrina Kaif, with whom he is sharing screen in Jagga Jasoos, which will hit screens a few months after Tamasha.
Says a source, “Katrina has been keeping track of Tamasha ever since the first promo came out. Enough has been said and written about whom Ranbir Kapoor makes the best pair with — Deepika or Katrina. Why is this important? It’s simple. He is the hottest actor after the Khan triumvate, and whoever makes the hottest pair with him, will get the chance to act in more films with him. Kat is worried that the DP-RK chemistry will overshadow her pairing with him. Her team has instructed Anurag to up the sizzle-ante between his lead pair. A major chunk of JJ will be shot in January and that’s where the magic between Katrina and Ranbir will be captured.”
There’s no love lost between these two actresses, personally and professionally. They are considered for the same roles. Work with same male leads and of course, there is the Ranbir connection. Katrina has always been very competitive and now with Tamasha and Jagga Jasoos as Ranbir’s back-to-back releases, she wants to ensure that her film is upto the mark. She knows that the industry as well as audiences are waiting to see which actress makes a hotter pair with RK and which film will be a bigger hit, and she wants her film to have a fair chance.”
In a recent interview to this paper, talking about Ranbir and Deepika, Kat said, “You cannot stop anyone from doing anything by laying your stake or claim on them. That’s not going to stop anyone. If a person has to stray or wander, the whole world can see you together but the guy can still find a way to do it.” However, when quizzed about whether Deepika or her made a better pair with Ranbir, she had retorted sarcastically, “Deepika is a great actress, will make a great pair with anyone, any male actor she’s paired with.
